Ooh, je pourrais écraser un raisin.
We watched the live action remake of How To Train Your Dragon, today. It felt quite often like a film that didn't need to be made but I still laughed a bit, still wowed a bit and thought that I could like to see a sequel.

#AlbumAlmanac Another album I got for my birthday in 2025. A bit clicky but sounding nice in mono.

@tobytram.bsky.social Fine & healthy to express frustration! Stress is horrible, no need to feel guilty.

Good morning! This month's #AlbumAlmanac edition of #WeekendSingles brings an album I got for my birthday. A UK Chelsea/Roxbury release through Polydor. A stained sleeve and slightly tatty vinyl at a reasonable price! Nice to put it on again.

I've just read that Benny Hill died in Teddington. History does not record any involvement from Two-Ton Ted.

@markbedford.bsky.social Hi Mark. What was your 'in' to The Fast Show? I remember seeing you on upright in Jazz Club with the old crooner who kept introducing the drummer.

Brief moment of wondering if my phone was in the washing machine in an unchecked pocket. Thankfully not.

Wasn't mad on the second series of Man on the Inside. Not a lot of story in eight episodes although there was a handful of laugh out loud moments.

The Act 12" mix contains samples from the TV Series, Moonlighting, unlike the Moonlighting mixes of the track which don't.
A couple of 12"s for a bonus round of #WeekendSingles.

Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles brings A House's Take It Easy On Me as a b-side in its original longer mix which became the album version. Also included is what became the UK Pot Black theme in the form of Winifred Atwell's Black & White Rag. Playing both sides, clockwise from top left.

That sense of alarm when the proof of delivery photo doesn't match what's on your doorstep, nor does the signature match your own. Turns out I was handed the package at the same time as another and the one they took a photo of was the wrong one. I don't like it being signed for on my behalf though.

I have willingly enjoyed being manipulated by the Waitrose Christmas ad with Joe Wilkinson & Keira Knightly.

Still looking great 27 years on!
This BBC kids tv advert from 1998 is still very impressive and very lovely

Bonus round of #WeekendSingles. Both sides of Wishing 12" to be played followed by both grooves on both sides of the Armstrong/Wonderful World of Louis Armstrong All Stars 12". You could spend all day trying to find the second groove on both sides as the cut starts farther in than the Louis tracks.

Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles play pile includes an Alarm 45 where the b-side was not the intended mix, which I believe has been replaced on digital compilations. Also included is a reggae version of The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Playing both sides from top left, then clockwise for each picture.
