For those who don't know: this track replaced Miserablism apparently as late as the mastering stage which is the last part of the process before being sent off for manufacture.
Well that's all settled, now just the simple ZTT catalogue to sort out.
I'm interested to check out the US mixes from the time. Which reminds me - I'd like to get hold of the US mix of Beat Dis with "crazy beat" instead of "funky beat" if it exists for not much on a single.
Uh-oh... I believe I've just read that even the 7" was revised to remove a Stock Aitken Waterman sample! I love this kind of stuff.
This also makes me wonder if there's a different mix on 7", but I guess the 12" was the key format pre-release.
Accidental passive-aggressive hashtag.
Ah, that explains the standard 12"!

That just gave me nostalgia for the classic 12" period. Warm fuzzies.
I've had a couple of different 12"s of the MARRS track. I thought the standard 12" was quite disappointing - perhaps a bit stripped back or something...
Pure remains a classic! I'm not sure I've ever seen the Kraftwerk 45 in a shop, only online.
I'm not sure why I don't have MARRS on 45. What a single.
Bonus post lunch round of #WeekendSingles. Playing both sides from top left, then clockwise.
The Ila Van record is soul from 1967 and not, as the label implies, disco!
Accidental #WeekendSingles connection between the Undisputed Truth and Velvettes 45s in the first picture as they both contain Norman Whitfield tracks which appear on The Temptations' The Sky's The Limit album.
Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles playpile, both sides from top left then clockwise for both pictures.

Thumbs up for the Simple Minds 45.
Is that dial for intensity of electrocution?
If you're planning to get it on vinyl and don't know already may I suggest 1) It's not worth the current premium for the 2LP version, and 2) Be aware the album has two edited tracks on it compared to the CD, but that said I'm pretty fine with the edits.
Interesting film. The music has been given a true surround mix as well.
Love this album. Probably my favourite by KC.
