whenever i see people say shit like “Kingdom Hearts/OG Monster Hunter 1/ DMC1/Sonic Adventure 2 are jank and thus don’t hold up” i think they need to see games less as functional office software and more as fuckin games cuz those all not only hold up to this day but are often better for it

- as a ff9 fan I am very happy
- Lumull and Eyaney are amazing, please tell me they're the main characters of 8.0
- I really wanna know the story behind Substitute G'raha. He's doing fine, I just hope it's not permanent

It's always about how AI is "inevitable" or "everyone's already using it" or "it's here to stay" and never any examples of how it's actually good other than not paying people

Spirits of Anglerwood Forest has unfortunately been delisted from the Google Play store. Working to get this fixed and it should hopefully be back in a few weeks. I'll update as I know more!

One of my least favorite story criticisms is complaining that the villain's turn to evil is irrational, as if becoming a villain isn't *inherently* emotional and irrational.

Looking at the video, I have to generously assume this is just for tutorializing for new players for a game series that hasn't seen a main title in 18 years. The opening sequence for Metroid Prime 3 was similarly quippy.

Started Metroid Prime: Federation Force and I can kinda see why people didn't like it when it came out. The mission based structure essentially removes the main appeal of a Metroid game. Admittedly, I'm sure I'd like it better if I were actually playing with other people.
