The secret sauce for Andor was “get a guy who’s not a fan already to make this stuff”, that’s why it works. Lucas wasn’t a “fan” of Star Wars either. Most of the Disney stuff has been made by fans (either still fans or lapsed fans)

now, to be clear, it's not the whole episode, it's the big opening thing. but the impulse and the results are exactly the same: end by going backwards. explain any possible mystery. prioritize character past over character development.
