What a perfect example of how these people are not just incompetent, they’re lazy.
A new filing in the case today asserts that two DOGE staffers plugged in NEH grants to ChatGPT asking it to flag which are related to diversity, equity and inclusion issues. The prompts given by the DOGE staffers were brief and unspecific, asking it to tell in less than 140 words why the grants are DEI. The plaintiffs argue that ChatGPT then narrowed the active grants down to approximately 1,400 that it determined were related to DEI, based on their findings, which they allege were signed by MICHAEL McDONALD, the then-acting chair of the NEH. They were then terminated.

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.
On Nov. 16, a mental health counselor recorded in Kamilla’s medical records that her mother reported the girl had lost her appetite after being “served food that contained worms.” A week later, the couple said, children were told to gather in the gym for what they believed would be a Thanksgiving celebration. Excitement spread as families saw tables set with turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, they said. The children waited expectantly. But when a parent asked when the celebration would begin, Oksana said, staff told them the holiday meal was for employees, not detainees. The children, she said, watched despondently as the feast was packed away.

WOW. Incredible. This is the case in which DHS claimed that ICE officers had been attacked with a shovel and fired back in self-defense. Evidence since suggests an ICE officer fired through a closed door and struck someone on the other side.
