We cannot let this happen here but each day we don’t have an articulated and clear response and local presence we inch closer to exactly this. @dcpschancellor.bsky.social what is the plan? Asked you this last May. @mayorbowser.dc.gov asked you in April.

Regarding today’s shooting in Minneapolis, recall that in mid-October a federal agent shot and almost killed D.C. driver Phillip Brown under similar circumstances. The agent claimed Brown was driving towards him as he tried to flee from a police stop.

I kept my (little at the time) kids away from any news on J6 because they wouldn’t have been able to sleep. I was barely able to sleep.
And that night, after the terror and insanity at the capitol, these criminals dispersed, largely unmolested, into our streets, our restaurants, our hotels.
We in DC dealt with the clean up, mental and physical.
