My grandparents, staunch Republicans in West LA, saw local Japanese-owned businesses disappear, were furious about it for decades: “They lost everything.”
Seeing people’s lives dismantled has a power well beyond talk of abstractions like rights and due process, to low-engagement voters.

Like sorry but it is, first and foremost, up to parents to keep their children safe. The fact that instead grown adults cannot access their Bluesky DMs with other grown adults, without giving away private info, is fucking absurd. Parent your offspring and leave the rest of us out of it, OK.
