They did the same thing with millennials 10 years ago. They used it as this sort of generic pejorative for "young people" despite the fact that the eldest among us (like this girl) were in our mid 30s at the time.

However, the moment Trump was put in a "put up or shut up" moment by his base, the entire core of his administration and the RW influencers that serve as propaganda nodes started to sweat, that's when I realized this thing has legs.

The real answer is to find out why they are hurting so much and actively work to help them out of their situation and ensure a good quality of life where they can live the life they choose, rather then is unfairly thrust on them.

This is actually the first Rated-R movie I ever saw. My folks are normally grossly over-protective but they gave me permission to see this one, and I did enjoy it (still do really).
