In order to combat that fascist narrative at it’s source, there must be a counter-narrative. A reasonable explanation for what is actually causing the economic crunch that working class people are experiencing, and an actionable plan to overturn it.

The reason there is popular support on the right for those soldiers in the streets is they believe that the economic problems of America are caused by the presence of immigrants, and getting rid of them will bring economic prosperity back to the American working class.

Pledging unconditional military support to a regime committing genocide while calling for the victims of the genocide to disarm, is calling for a ceasefire, in a sense, but it’s the kind of ceasefire that happens when there’s no one left to shoot.

The 2028 general election will be between two candidates both accusing the other one of not being tough enough on immigration. ICE will be destroyed through direct action, it’s not something our electoral system is capable of touching.

Liz Buckingham was the clear frontrunner. Strong name recognition even if people are just thinking of the Fleetwood Mac guy. Clayton Burgess in my view does not have a path to the White House, he’s already at a disadvantage being a bassist, and his current band is less accessible than new Wizard.

The Democratic Party has completely forgotten that it’s always a winning strategy to lie and pretend you support popular policy positions, so they get confused when they see someone on the other side implementing this massively successful strategy, and they confuse it for honesty.
