We’ve said it before, and here we are again. Mass detention + privatized cost controls + infectious disease = a public health nightmare--one that harms detainees and puts us all at risk.

The ICE officer filmed Renee’s face, vehicle, license plate number, he just needed to call police. He had no business stepping in front of her running vehicle. His partner had no business approaching her vehicle, attempting to force her out of it.

I think it’s important to point out: ICE does NOT have the same authority as a police officer. They do NOT have the power to enforce laws, only to engage in their specific tasks.
IE: they don’t do traffic, etc. impeding traffic is not a penalty ICE can enforce against
