The NHS doesn’t exist to provide care; it exists to gatekeep it & make our health worse. This isn’t even a new technique - they’ve been pulling this shit for years. I was just saying the other day: the NHS relieves me of whatever shreds of joy & quality of life the DWP leaves behind.
read the replies on this, the nhs is basically doing the equivalent of putting trap doors under the queue and just randomly opening them on every third patient to thin out the line
Wes claims his turbo teams have cut NHs waiting lists & it’s “not only a technocratic back office exercise” - 🤔 I suspect that’s exactly what it is, my own experiences of being on list was sneaky tricks to bump me off it, including letters sent over Xmas demanding instant response to stay on list.
