It’s only been a few hours but I think the iPhone 17 Pro might be my favorite of the X era. The build feels so great and I can’t get over the orange. Just spectacular.

Amex Platinum refresh is way better than I thought it would be. The annual fee will hurt (next year) but they’ve added a whole bunch of new useful (and easy to use) credits. And a limited edition mirror card!

iPhone Air is the exact same scenario as the original MacBook Air. Crazy thin design with a few compromises and a relatively high price. There’s a clear market for that kind of thing and it worked out pretty well last time.

I…kinda want the #iPhone16e. I’ve had 15 Pro Max and now 16 Pro Max, and I think this year I’ll go back down to the small one. Something about the simplicity of the 16e sounds nice. That single camera lens is so clean. I guess if there is an Air with one dual purpose camera, I might go that route.
