People responding to this saying “the internet is forever”, but actually 38% of web pages that existed in 2013 are no longer online. Data, documents, and websites need to be archived and (importantly, this is a distinct thing) preserved or they will go away.
The Department of Justice has removed a study showing that white supremacist and far-right violence “continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism” in the United States.

This is serious, rigorous analysis and it should change the way the media has been covering these protests. These were, in the aggregate, *massive.*
Based on crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6 million people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. That's nearly 2% of the U.S. pop!

Mobilized anti-Trump resistance is exceeding 2017 levels
"No Kings Day" protests turn out millions
Our unofficial estimate is that around 4 million people attended a protest event yesterday. Anti-Trump resistance is outpacing 2017.

Been working on this for little bit now. The new Sherwin Beach Press website is live! Fully responsive, fast loading, more usable navigation, and now with an integrated shop: sherwinbeach.com

Design idea is it should feel timeless, like the site might always have been this way.
