Thanks for braving the dangers, so glad to have you there!!💖💕💐
Whenever I’m in the Strand, I fear I’m going to be trapped by the mob and shelved with the books! But last night @alexanderchee.bsky.social and @mbsycamore.bsky.social had a lovely book discussion upstairs and it was the second lovely book discussion we attended this week! Very fun and no injuries!

Why is there no hair gel at health food stores, are people not using hair gel anymore, I mean I keep finding 20 varieties of shampoo and conditioner, and maybe one hair gel, just one, but not the one I need, looking for hair gel, hair gel, maybe I should write a song about it.

Revisiting this thinking of William F. Buckley saying “scattered success breeds universal hope.” He was talking about Black capitalism, but in the context of trans visibility it's more cruel. I didn't need a mirror to see I was Black and didn't need a TV to see Black people as a child, by contrast
"Mainstream visibility hasn't helped our community at large. It's actually *more* to our detriment"💥

Listen to the corporate centrists. They do not care about people. Their only priority is protecting the capitalist machine that feeds them.

They’ll sacrifice anyone, normalize fascism, do anything if it means the checks keep coming in.
