I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

ESPN hates tennis. Their coverage is atrocious. Running a mid season college basketball game into its coverage is an insult to tennis and the Australian Open. They should be banned from tennis coverage. @ESPN

One of my few guilty pleasures is watching tennis. I will never pay corporate Disney a dime to watch their coverage of the slams. I
For cable TV watchers additional fees to watch what we already pay for will result in just cancelling all of it.
TRULY terrible, nobody is doing it worse than them. at least when i pay for a tennis channel plus subscription, i know i'm getting literally every tennis match possible. espn has fractured their coverage over multiple paywalled options and won't clue you in as to where to find things

The worst thing that ever happened to fans of professional tennis is that ESPN got the contract to air the Slams. ESPN gives priority to other sports. It's GREED! ESPN could share with the Tennis Channel. There are apparently enough fans to sustain TC. ESPN wants more money for access to ESPN +.

This is the 3rd time in my lifetime that @espn has ruined tennis on TV. In the 90s they'd delay broadcasts then truncate them. In the 00's they stopped carrying it almost entirely but the tennis channel came along and it was glorious. Now they're "broadcasting" again but it's pay walled. Assholes.

While I appreciate the sentiment of this book list, I really need some of you to understand that white Americans' indifference is baked into the soil. White Americans watched as Black people were lynched and then took pieces of their body and/clothing as souvenirs.
Browning’s study of Reserve Police Battalion 101 shows how average men became mass shooters through peer pressure, conformity, and step by step escalation. Many were not ideological fanatics. The key dynamic was social belonging, fear of standing apart, and adapting to a violent new norm. 5/
