Ottawa is saying YES to housing. Today, I signed a $400-million affordable housing agreement with Prime Minister Mark Carney at the Mayor’s Breakfast. Ottawa is the first municipality in Canada to partner with Build Canada Homes.

One hundred years ago, the Rideau Aquatic Club captured the city’s first men’s national basketball championship by defeating UBC in 1925. I was proud to attend the Lisgar basketball game marking this milestone in Ottawa’s basketball history.

There’s nothing more important than the safety of our residents. That’s why we are making historic investments in the people who keep us safe. Our Public Safety Action Plan includes more police officers, more paramedics, better-equipped firefighters.
