Decades ago I was on a professional path. I managed to find balance as a single mother, working full-time without benefits and finishing a college degree at the same time. I was raising a disabled child from birth.

It's official that FOOD BENEFITS will end Due to the continued federal government shutdown, households will not receive food benefits after Oct. 31. Go to dshs.wa.gov or a local DSHS office for more info.
