Everything bunged in a bowl (except the brandy) and heated in the oven at 100 for 2-3hrs. Once the suet has melted, remove, stir in a good slug of brandy, and put jar.

I don't really have a recipe, as it depends what I've got in. It's ~800g mixed dried fruit (I used raisins, figs, cranberries, apricot, cherries, candied peel, sultanas), 1 orange juice and zest, 1 lemon juice and zest, 250g brown sugar, a cooking apple, 100g almonds, 100g suet, spices, brandy.

He's good, thanks. Very settled, wee bit clingy which we working on - think he just needs to get to the point where he knows we're always coming back. He has absolutely no recall, typical greyhound!
