Before the cops in LA started escalating things for no reason it was funny how my main takeaway was how much people were looking out for each other in really helpful ways. I’ve never seen so many people with carts giving away free water, sunscreen, snacks, and masks to total strangers.

For the folks too dim to understand, the protests are because the president is acting like a wannabe king, not because he is an actual king. Ex: a military parade on his birthday a la Russia and North Korea, despite being a draft dodger and gouging benefits for veterans. Bless your hearts though.

I laugh at anyone who tries to bash WA, based on a cardinal rule: you can tell who someone is by how they treat animals. States send thousands of animals to WA per year - highest adoption rates, highest care for animals. Say whatever you want, but when it comes down to it, WA's better 🤷🏻♀️
