Hire a manager who can turn us into Brentford.

(Not really what Spurs should aspire to, but they are looking far better this season than I anticipated)

Reduced to rooting for United to beat West Ham and keep us a bit further off the relegation places.

Abolish ICE is not enough.

Stern words for Greg Bovino or Kristi Noem is not enough.

We need prosecutions and trials.

Anything short of this position fails to address the gravity of this moment.

You guys, I think Xavi Simons might be really good.

To be clear, I don't want Tottenham to change managers frequently.

Poch needed to be backed.

Mourinho, Nuno should never have been appointed.

If they'd have stuck with Ange, I'd have been on board.

But backing Frank because you think the problem is too much change is crazy, he's so not it.

Hopeful that Spurs can make some good, early, signings this window.

Ideally cover at LB, a CM/CDM with good progressive passing, and an LW who is a significant upgrade.

However, our squad isn’t bad. I’d actually argue that with our current roster we should be competing for European spots.

Considering how bad our recent results at St James Park have been, I’ll take that. Heroic effort from Romero.

Romero with a brace!

Never a penalty. Absolute joke.

Less of a shambolic defensive performance than the last few matches, but we never look like scoring and it’s so disheartening. #TottenhamHotspur

You will struggle to find a better goal than Micky van de Ven’s against Copenhagen this evening.

Winning the ball back on the edge of his own box, he dribbled the length of pitch before firing home.

A lot of discourse about Spurs fandom this week. Too negative? Too impatient? Maybe. But one thing fans are 100% justified in being outraged by is lineup graphics that list players numerically.

While it was a gut punch to concede in the final moments and lose on pens, today I’m more encouraged than disappointed. I watched PSG dismantle Inter in the CL final so going two up and defending well is a great sign for this season, especially if we make key signings before the window closes.

Just a reminder that generative AI is theft of labor and intellectual property, uses vast amounts of energy/ water, provides at best mediocre results (if not outright lies or misinformation), actually affects your ability to think over time (mind duh), and is in general a really fucking bad idea.

A thread now that I’ve had time to process my thoughts.

I have been “Ange in” for a long time but that was never just about play style or his ability as an orator, even if I appreciated both. Ultimately it came down to three factors.

Sacking Ange Postecoglou is a decision Tottenham Hotspur will almost certainly live to regret.

Thank god we finally fixed our squad depth issues by… firing the coach who got something incredible out of an injury ridden squad, young signings playing out of position, and players who had been written off by previous managers.
Tottenham Hotspur are expected to part company with head coach Ange Postecoglou despite him winning the club’s first trophy for 17 years.
