From next week I have to start injecting myself with methotrexate for my psoriatic arthritis, so that’s a fun new development. My dad’s been diabetic since the 80s so I’ve grown up around people using needles but still not much looking forward to it!

I mean, I know there’s far bigger things going on at the moment to be annoyed about, but it’s grating that there’s no UHD release of Keeper on disc next month, and only a BluRay.

Isn't this a telling aspiration? To want robots to look after your kids, so you can do stuff, rather than robots to do stuff, so you can spend time with your kids?

The darkness inside these shrivelled men must be like a gaping unfillable void.

Think you'd be a good comic editor? Here's your 'choose your own adventure' chance. We announced our new creator-owned series HIDDEN SPRINGS this week. Here's all the different roughs @nilvendrell.bsky.social sent through as possible covers for #1. Which one would you choose?

Today I went to the Brand Museum in London to check out the @gerryanderson.bsky.social exhibition. If you’re a fan of retro TV shows it’s a lot of fun!

The Trump disbelief that the Norwegian govt doesn't control the Nobel process is deeply indicative of his thinking. He can't conceive that an institution could (or should) be genuinely independent of coercion or political power. That's the change he represents.
Trump: "I should have gotten the Nobel prize for each war...I saved millions and millions of people...and don't let anyone tell you that Norway doesn't control the shots. It's in Norway. Norway controls the shots. It's a joke. They've lost such prestige.“

“Can’t be arsed to count your friends? Just upload photos of everyone.” Fuuuuuuuuuck offfffff.
at last we will be free from the backbreaking drudgery of ordering pizza from a menu and even counting how many people the pizza is for www.theverge.com/tech/863365/...

“So, I gather they’re making a series of TV spin-offs of 28 Years Later starring a bunch of grunge rockers from the 90s. The Bone Temple pilots will air next year.”

“So we just need one photo of Tony Blair not looking like a fucking psychopath for this article.”
“No problem, boss - on it!”

I loved 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. It’s a brilliantly made horror with some real flashes of originality. Plus, Ralph Fiennes is having the absolute time of his life!

This 2000AD story blew my mind. I would've been 16 I guess and was really enjoying the Dead Man story so the twist that (spoiler!) he turned out to be a scarred and outcast Judge Dredd shook my tiny world.
Good morning! It’s Tuesday January 13th 2026! Another day already? Crikey! Onwards we go.

(On sale this very month in 1990, a mere 36 years ago, 2000AD #661, with its cover by John Ridgway featuring Judge Dredd / The Dead Man.)

You be very careful out there among them English, Joanne Book.

Well, I did not hate Tron Ares as much as everyone else, it seems. Sure the ‘plot’ and Leto are both utterly pants but visually at least it blew my socks off and the hokum was well orchestrated. And NiN’s soundtrack is excellent.

My 80 year old dad is a fan of blues music so I told him and mum to watch this movie on NowTV they’d really like. I said it was a story about two brothers opening a blues club in the Deep South and that the movie took a bit of an unexpected turn in the second half. Told them it was called Sinners…

First read of 2026 - just finished this and it's phenomenal. If you liked Paver's Thin Air and Dark Matter then you'll absolutely adore this - and if you've not read them, get on it!

I came out of the loft and closed the hatch, but as I walked away I heard the latch release. Instinctively knowing the hatch would swing down and hit me on the back of the head I ducked… and smashed my forehead on the staircase balustrade instead. Claret everywhere.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.
