Zohran's campaign was his determination to make New York a city everyone can afford to live in. Huge congratulations!

His success will resonate throughout the world. A story where no one is left behind.

It's time to write that story across England & Wales too.

Unfortunately no time for speeches on Labour's motion “Protecting fair access to IVF treatment” at full council today, but I'm really glad it and our amend passed.

Shocking that gynaecology waiting list is the largest one per 100,000 in South Yorkshire NHS: it's nearly tripled in the last 5 years!

Labour have learned absolutely nothing from losing majority control of Sheffield council, and are nationally repeating the same mistakes.

Labour to abolish the committee system 🤦‍♂️

Labour are continuing to do a great job... disillusioning voters who thought they'd be getting change 🫠

Absolutely shocking to see a Labour secretary of state stand at the despatch box and proudly announce slashing support for some of those who need it most - including removing the UC health top-up for young people, as if young disabled people don't exist?! #DisabilityBenefits

Who does this Labour government represent?

They have a big majority with only 33.7% of the vote (and turnout was only 59.8%)

How many people who voted for them did so they could cut disability benefits?

Tax the rich, don't punish those in need of support

✍ Dear Labour,

Some ideas to tackle poverty 👇

✔ Scrap the two-child benefit cap.

✔ Bring back winter fuel payments.

✔ Insulate homes.

Yours,

The Green Party
A new poll has found 70% of healthcare workers see patients unable to pay energy bills.

Remember, scrapping the winter fuel allowance, not investing in cheap renewables and not insulating homes are all political choices.

Government could choose to lift people out of poverty.

Labour taking nationalisation off the table before it even STARTS its review of Water sector.

Tell them we’re having none of it👇💪💪
🚨BREAKING - Steve Reed has just launched the biggest review into the water sector since privatisation.

But wait…..he says the commission can’t even consider public ownership. 🤯

We need to act quickly to change his mind. ⏰

What’s the point in refusing citizenship to refugees who have ‘made a dangerous journey’?

What’s the point in publishing footage of people being deported?

I’m sorry to say that this is simply a continuation of the performative cruelty we saw from the Conservatives.

Labour's disgusting deportation stunt this week wasn't just morally bankrupt, it was politically stupid. Politicians need to find the backbone to be honest about the real source of our problems: the wealthy elite draining money from our communities
