I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise

While I'm not quite at the point of losing my house, the harm ai has done to my animation work income is huge, like 80% gone and it makes me wonder how many freelance artists and animators ARE losing everything while billionaire con men continue to rake it in.

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

I think this is one of my favourite colourful climate chart type things, because it depicts two things at once:

- Things are going to get worse, no matter what

- The degree to which they get worse depends on decisions made today

Still 8th in line to the throne. It is genuinely absurd that the current position is that Andrew is unfit to be a duke or a prince but theoretically could be fit to be King.
"We breed this family to be our head of state and it screws them up time and time again. It is a litany of sadness and torment."

Can King Charles make the "brutal" changes needed to make sure the Royals survive?

I think the SNP will benefit in Westminster elections from the general turn against Labour - there was a big SNP to Lab swing last year. But in Holyrood elections it just means return of the status quo ante - SNP dominated in last contest (2021) and likely will again

Wales generally has a left of centre political identity.

This is how Caerphilly voted.

Reform may win a lot of seats in Wales, but it will be so hard for them to ever form a Government as most ppl don't agree with them.

This is why proportional systems are so much better.
