Shocked by the awful death of Rob Reiner. I spoke with him for over an hour last night. We talked about his work and his plans for the future. I always enjoyed his company. We met at his Dad's in 1975. Last thing he said to me was "See you next year.." Such a terrible end. Such a sweet man.

The reprehensible killing of 16 Jews on Bondi Beach is rightly condemned, but the media fail to acknowledge the fact that as many, or more, Arabs are killed by Israeli Jews on a daily basis in Gaza and the West Bank. Anyone brave enough to protest this slaughter is liable to be arrested.

The hero who disarmed one of the terrorists in Sydney turned out to be 43-year-old Ahmed al-Ahmed — a fruit shop owner and father of two.
He was shot twice and is currently in hospital. He is scheduled to undergo surgery.
He had no experience with weapons of any kind.
