There is part of me thinks that if you're going to do a ridiculous run-up and have your plant foot in front of the ball, then if that causes a double touch you forfeit the re-take. But it's against scum so I'm fine with the re-take being allowed.

Can we just talk about how good Struijk was today (apart maybe from that goal line clearance). Lots of #lufc fans like to pile on and criticize him (often unfairly I'd say), but he just bossed Haaland all game.

#lufc Yes Perri should potentially be stronger. But how is that not a foul by Silva. He was clearly deliberately backing in to Perri when the corner was coming in to block him off from initially coming for the ball. It's clearly impeded his positioning.

You get far more bang for your buck and return on investment by funding 20 people at 50k/yr than 1 person at 1 million/yr. Government science funding models need to be completely re-designed
Your periodic reminder that science is not done by a few selected "stars scientists". Science is done by hundred of thousands. Siloed money mean a few flashy discoveries and a lot of waste. Want to change things? Make funding accessible and stop funding calls with less than 2% success rate.
