Third and final stakeholder workshop done this morning to co-design a bereavement support toolkit for care home staff. Thanks to the @enrichscotland.bsky.social team who helped with note-taking! First time using the whiteboard feature on Teams and was impressed!

This was the second of 3 workshops to help with the development of a bereavement support toolkit for care home staff. We asked participants to do a prioritisation and sorting exercise on "stuff" that might be in the toolkit, and everyone had so much learning and insights to share! #whywedoresearch

Great day today at the first (of three) engagement events where we are talking to care home stakeholders about what should/could/shouldn't/couldn't be in a bereavement toolkit. Helped by two wonderful ENRICH Scotland team mates 💕

Panel discussion went really well. Lots of interesting conversations and questions reflecting on the health and social care data strategy. I highlighted the need for fair minimum digital infrastructure standards and co-designing processes that improve interoperability. @enrichscotland.bsky.social

Do read our blogs, or listen to the writer narrations? Did you know they have a separate podcast? Looks like they’re pretty popular on @goodpods.bsky.social, a great independent podcast platform go.goodpods.com/5LbdnB

Did you have ‘exacerbation of antimicrobial resistance’ on your Gaza bingo card? If not, add it. #medsky
Wars accelerate AMR by disrupting healthcare, increasing antibiotic misuse, and poor sanitation. Combating this requires rebuilding healthcare systems, regulating antibiotic use, improving sanitation, and ensuring access to vaccines and clean water.

So, my contract is ending, and I am about to become unemployed. I am filled with dread. The job market for historians is abominable. If anyone sees anything suitable, including political work, I’d be interested to know.

If you're looking for a place to do some work, the public library is like a coffeeshop where you don't need to buy anything and there's a lot more space and you can stay as long as you like and you don't get any coffee.
