This is exactly the type of story young Marines need to hear.

It’s about confronting self-doubt, overcoming challenges, building esprit de corps, and - last but not least - becoming a Marine.

We are profoundly fortunate to have such young Americans join our ranks.
White says his military career helped make him a better person and inspired him to write a best-selling memoir about his experience, “The Pink Marine.”

During WWII the 442nd RCT, a segregated unit of Japanese-American soldiers, joined the 36th ID, formerly of the Texas National Guard.

More than 800 442nd members were later killed or wounded rescuing 211 Texans trapped behind enemy lines.

As our mission statement demands, we must advise Bluesky that deploying Marines to America’s streets is not the proper employment of Marine forces.

"These Marines aren't going into Beirut, they're not going into Fallujah -- they're going home," said retired Col. Craig Tucker, who once commanded 2/7.

"The damage to the Marine Corps would be severe, if the Marines are used as a force against American citizens for some manufactured reason.”
