Headliners Everyone says hi are made up of a Kaiser Chief Nick Hodgson, The Kooks Pete Denton , Ben Gordon from The Dead 60s, Glenn Moule of Howling Bells, and guitarist Tom Dawson. Tonight they played a blinder. But with that heritage how could they play anything less. 10/10 a gig of the year.

First up tonight were Tungz who played the sort of '80s synth pop that reminded me of Level 42 and Howard Jones. Although to be fair they were a man down as their drummer had appendicitis so they made do with a drum machine. I'm sure a real drummer would have beefed up the sound.

Mine was 17 as well and I also had Warrington Runcorn in the top 5 so perhaps it's all down to him

Headliner Bill Ryder-Jones played a 90 minute set of oldies to a sold out crowd. Most of the set was pre Lechyd Da and at least half was just Bill on his own with a guitar the other half was with cellist Evelyn Hall (Pet Snake, Clean Cut Kid). A solid 10/10 gig.

First up was alt-country star Brooke Bentham. Brooke is used to playing stadiums as part of Sam Fender's band. Tonight it's a bit smaller venue and she just has Robert Chaney on guitar accompanying her.

Headliners Mén An Tol played a 10 song set with a few new tracks and plenty of old favourites. It's the 8th time I've seen them play in the last year and think this was the best set of all.

Second band at the Lexington tonight were London four-piece Little Grandad who also mixed up the genres. They have a trumpet player and I'm a sucker for a trumpet so they can do no wrong.

First up was Bristol band Dogsbody with their first gig in London. A stunningly good set you have to watch out for them. There's a bit of indie, a bit of jazz and a bit of Tim Buckley in there, a weird mix I know, but it works very well.

Headliners Woom were as near perfect as you can get. Their three-part harmonies were probably the most beautiful thing I've heard all year.

First up were London folk-jazz duo Loa a collaboration between Genevieve Dawson (vocals) and Rick Leigh (keyboards & vocals)
