One of the clearest patterns of Bluesky's moderation policies, if you can even call them that, is that whatever is considered to be against the TOS is enforced exponentially harsher the more visible/popular an account is.

After I stopped using reddit as much, because I was tired of all the circle-jerking, and turned my attention towards more important matters that affected the real world, I somehow expected less circle-jerking, not more of it.

95% of slice of life anime is uninspired and/or repetitive trash that's been done dozens of times before by better anime before it, but when it's good, when it's made with heart, it's really fucking good.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

I'm not a professional blogger (anymore) or Journalist in any capacity, but if I was running a paid news website and wanted to announce a sale for a subscription I probably wouldn't put that specific article behind a pay wall.

All things considered I think we got a pretty good deal, X and ChatGPT for Downdetector is a bargain.
The only people willing and wanting to pay AI to do something that they can't do are the people who are unwilling or wanting to hire competent people to do it for them.
Why hire someone competent to do something when you can get an AI subscription that will give the illusion that I did.
I'm tired.

I like how most people, including some billionaires, understand that it's a matter of "when" and not "if" the AI bubble will burst and some companies are still trying to get a last minute share increase by signing deals or investing heavily into it.
They are accelerating straight into a wall.
