Spent the week in Long Beach at #AWE2025. I got to meet a couple of my professors and cohort in person after all our zoom classes. The talks I was able to attend were very informative and inspiring. I’m ready to work on my capstone and finish my program #GoDucks #xrisgoingmainstream

I just did a zoom presentation to my class. I have gone over 25 years ducking any hint of public speaking due to an extreme anxiety. My wife and therapist are going to be so happy!

Just started reading/listening to ‘Black Reconstruction in America’ and the fact that W.E.B DuBois’ words are still relevant today is sad. The poor whites thinking the enslaved had it better because they were “taken care of” sounds a lot like how that crowd thinks of immigrants now.

Carpet cleaning. Lasted 4 days. My trainer told me to go clean a big stain but I’m color blind and couldn’t see it. Never came back after that

Halfway through the quarter, halfway through earning a Master’s. Taking 16 credits on top of everything else going on in my life, the world, is taking its toll. I have to remember to keep my head up and enjoy the journey.
