Heartily sick now of getting drenched/blown off my feet. The rain and wind woke me at 5am so am tired as well as soggy. Trying to keep myself going with happy thoughts but it’s not easy with this miserable lot ha! At least I’ll be warm and dry at work. Wish I could’ve cosied down at home today.

Despite being almost blown into the North Sea in the 50mph wind and getting totally drenched 3 times - tonight’s Wassail was a total joy - thanks @elizacarthy.bsky.social and @jonboden.bsky.social for a wonderful evening ♥️♥️
Was good to also catch up with #thedaddy again too ♥️

What a washout. Hoping not to have a repeat of the last time I went to Whitby Pavilion. More prepared this time. Back in July I went to see Gigspanner Big Band there and got drenched in a sudden downpour and had to spend a few very uncomfortable hours in soaking wet clothes 😳

She’s done it again ♥️ ..we had promised ourselves to book 2 Bellowhead gigs next tour. Yesterday we got Sheffield tickets and @anniehornerglis.bsky.social was on it again at 10am today when Harrogate tix went on sale. Two #bellowhead gigs a week apart- that’ll be well worth waiting a year for :-)

Just back from one of the best nights ever! Go see Pete Morton on this latest tour if you can. Pete is naturally hilarious and quick witted. The show is full of songs we all know, told in such a funny, engaging way and a history lesson too. Like nothing we’ve ever seen before. I’m still laughing 😂
