Beware Ontario. Ford said you'll show your OHIP card not your credit card to receive health care but private clinics are known to coerce patients into paying for extras or "better" devices. Alberta is looking to have for profit corporations to operate hospitals. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

I've long been a fan & advocate of CBC News, but the increasing Americanization of 🇨🇦 news network is rivaling the bias of CTV, & this is bad news for publicly-funded & independent news media in 🇨🇦. CBC isn't respecting Canadians & one wonders if their ombudsperson is listening or has been relegated.

There are two methods for cranberry harvest- wet method and dry method. Pictured is the ‘wet harvest’ method where the cranberry bog is flooded and the plants are shaken to dislodge the submerged berries, which float. (Fun fact: in a flooded bog the workers become high ground for the spiders.)
