But will that actually happen? A judge ordered a bunch of them not to be deported, & they went ahead & did it anyway.
Judge issues major victory for due process in class action lawsuit, rules that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) can no longer detain immigrants without offering them a bond hearing. Everyone gets a bond hearing now.

So the federal government has passed no legislation regarding ai, but states have hundreds of laws on the books currently. Trump is talking about withholding Federal money until those laws are gone.
