My 70-year-old mother has been subsidizing my life on her government retirement.

I need an income, and I need it yesterday, because we won't be getting SNAP next month, and I need to feed my kids.

Is ANYONE able to hire for odd writing/editing jobs or anything? Please, I'm desperate.

Y'all, I am legitimately terrified at this point.

I'm a SNAP recipient. Two adults, two children in my house.

I don't qualify for SSI because I'm able to name the current sitting president and the year, BUT...I can't commit to a full-time job when I end up needing to call out a lot.

My old lady tracks litter into my bed. Evidently it sticks to her fur or something, I have a litter-catching mat but it doesn't keep her from tracking the crud into my bed.

Talk about uncomfortable, that ONE grain of litter digging into my leg or whatever, UGH.

I had to start covering the bed. x.x

I have psych issues that make it very hard to commit to a five-day work week, but am apparently not ill enough for SSDI or anything.

That said, my family of four with no working income gets SNAP and Medicaid. We literally cannot eat without SNAP.

My wife is trying to find work but having no luck.
