I want everyone who said they couldn't vote for Harris, because her policies didn't go far enough in one or several areas, and concluded "they're all the same", to make themselves a little scrapbook over the next four years.

As an aide-mémoire for next time.

Dear #synod. The decisions you have made this afternoon mean that the experience of a person reporting that they have been abused will be exactly the same as it has been up to now.

Was that what you wanted?

Huge respect for @carolecadwalla.bsky.social a brilliant investigative journalist who puts her neck on the line in the quest for truth, demonstrated when she exposed the foul play by Cambridge Analytica.

So when she reports on what’s happening in the USA and concludes it’s a coup - believe her..
This is what should be on every front page right now. What's happening in the US right now is an illegal power grab by a private citizen. IT'S A COUP.

It's a digital coup. It's Musk who's leading it. The consequences are terrifying. And it's coming for us next.

One option being urged is for the PM (or the King) to set up an independent commission to look at governance of the Church.

Unlikely Parliament would reverse 1919 Act that took control of governance out of its hands, but at this rate many feel something significant is needed.

Parliament oversaw the governance of the Church until 1919.
