It was jarring being in law school post-COVID switch to remote learning. Myself and so many peers suddenly found ourselves struggling massively as all of the coping skills that we'd developed over two decades to manage our mental health/undiagnosed neurodivergence were swept away, (1/2)

So true and even if you have a diagnosis, if you are any older than 5 then so many institutions will demand to know why you didn't need these accommodations in college/high school/middle school/etc. As of the idea that you were struggling and are just now aware and asking for help is unthinkable.
