I want to tack on to this that I think you cheat yourself out of a lot good when you always opt for comfort. You dismiss people who are different or a little tough around the edges, you shy away from new experiences and ideas. Your precious energy gets siphoned off by shit that Does Not Matter.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
