Do you make weird monster photos?

Need some atmospheric reference images for a horror game?

Or do you want pieces that invoke a sense of isolation for your novel?

We’re still lingering in Europe near the Alps for this #folklorefriday, as we cover The Night Folk. They are also referred to as The Night Throng, Death Throng, and Death Folk. Wearing black robes and shrouds, this solemn procession of lost souls makes their way across the land.

Remember all the cool stuff hackers did in 80's & 90's movies?

Like revealing corruption & fraud?

Or stealing millions from evil corporations?

Man, I wish real hackers did this stuff.

Instead of just stealing the identities of normal folks or robbing old people.

My fellow non-binaries to the front! You know the white stripe in the pride flag? That's for you! If you are non-binary you are part of the trans community period.

My little Hanukkah section is on top of the stereo.

That way, the menorah can be seen through the front window & it's where Tara can't get to it.

There will be no burnt whiskers in this house.

Also, everywhere else is overrun by Christmas 🤣

Myrtle's spicy take:

Any game that advertises that it's for the Gamers™ is just an announcement that the game sucks and is not worth your time.

Came upstairs to find a couple of deer just chilling in the backyard.

We got about 4 inches of snow since yesterday afternoon.

So today is another shoveling day.

I just finished "into the Dark" by Jordan L. Hawk and had a random thought.

In modern media, ectoplasim is depicted as some shade of green.

But during the Spiritualist movement of the late 1800s to early 1900s, the ectoplasim the fake mediums created was white.

Morning bump
It’s another cold night, with the threat of snow looming. Knecht Ruprecht is the Yule spirit visiting us this #folklorefriday from Germany and the Alps. He often wears a dark robe with a pointed hood and fur trim, has a bushy beard, carries a large sack, and a switch.

I laughed out loud, that one of WooLoop's advent levels is the Gävle Goat and it's a year that it burned.

Tara has been feeling bad the last couple of days due to allergies. She always perks up when covered in plushies.

I managed to actually make the fudge, and it looks okay.

The real test will be when I go to cut it up tomorrow.

Well, the one good thing about doing the store run is seeing more people finally masking up.
December 11, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Tomorrow I have to:

do laundry
make fudge
grocery shop
pick up meds
go to therapy
cook dinner
wash dishes
take out the recycling

and still try to find the time and energy to write

😅
