I'd like to think this is true but it also depends. I think more AEW fans are the online, leftwing type that you'd find in SquaredCircle. The people at WWE shows nowadays are upper middle class / wealthy people unbothered by the company's MAGAness, and they are still the larger fanbase.
I've read some data about the voting habits of wrestling fans, and the big thing is that they're disengaged. So if ICE's many atrocities are breaking through to an extent that even they're chanting "Fuck ICE"...
Amazing. If a professional wrestling crowd is chanting "fuck ICE," it suggests to me that large swaths of the culture are not just upset over ICE tactics, they're coalescing against mass deportations as a broader ideological project.

everything ICE and the Trump administration have been doing is based on decades of carceral state infrastructure, built by Dems and Repubs alike. this was always the end game. still, it's always shocking when browncoats are let loose on the populace. fuck ICE and fuck their abettors

Also, ICE shouldn't have firearms at all in this context! They are a civil/regulatory enforcement agency. When they are doing domestic immigration enforcement, they don't even enforce criminal law!
My take on what is clearly murder: a bunch of insufficiently-trained ICE agents dog-pile — and subdue — the victim with multiple guns drawn (why were the guns out?!). One of agents accidentally discharges his improperly-drawn gun, spooks the rest, and then they all unload in to the unarmed victim.

We have been told for nearly 30 years that America needed to tolerate mass shootings because the broad availability of guns would help us defend ourselves from an overreaching federal government. That day has come. The people who said this are supporting the federal agents. Many have joined them.
