I have never felt pressured or forced in anyway to use pronouns to introduce myself, but the way conservatives respond to them makes me want to start.

I put together a primer on Charlie Kirk — and paid some special attention to his relationship with Nick Fuentes and the Groyper movement.

There's no hot takes or sweeping declarations. Just some useful background. www.bugeyedandshameless.com/p/who-was-ch...

Feel like I’m going insane with the revisionist history that Charlie Kirk fostered open debate. He chilled speech and his targeting of professors for wrongthink led to threats, harassment, and being forced out of their jobs. His legacy is chilling speech right now, about him

Looking after Tiny Niece today. As someone very neurodivergent, with complex needs, she questions things in ways my own neurowonk brain wouldn't even have thought of, and is a total legend.

She'd heard "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and asked:

"WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BE HIT BY A BABY?!"

FACT: The more people choosing to walk, bike & take public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for EVERYONE, including DRIVERS.

Anyone claiming that less car dependency is a “war on cars” doesn’t understand how cities (or geometry) work.

It’s time we tell #TheTruthAboutTraffic.

Trump is a deeply unserious man. He has absolutely no concept of how much money it will take to replace/reinforce all the concrete and plumbing of Alcatraz.

It’s like trying to make the Colosseum in Rome a feasible sports venue again.

Personally, I would like to see the President attempt to pass the Presidential Fitness Test.

(I don't even know what it entails, but I'm pretty sure he would fail it.)

I'm sure by now you've seen the viral clip of Pierre Poilievre dismissively answering questions from a journalist and eating an apple. In light of recent election results, I reached out to the journalist in that clip to get his thoughts.

These maps piss me off.

Here is a breakdown of provinces' approximate populations:
ON 16M
PQ 9M
BC 6M
AB 5M
MB 1.5M
SK 1M
NS 1M
NB 1M
NL 0.5M
PEI 0.2M

ON+PQ has more people as the rest of the country combined.

The Globe and the Toronto Star are reporting the Conservatives are scrambling to make sure Poilievre doesn’t lose the seat he’s held since 2004

The party sent campaigners to his riding in the last two weeks “who would normally be assigned to tight races across the country,” per the Globe.

I miss the Progressive Conservative Party. They weren't my preferred party, but I never worried when they formed government. But since 2003, when Peter McKay allowed them to be taken over by Stephen Harper's Canadian Alliance, the Conservatives have been unrecognizable as something Canadian.
