The Jeffersonian would be an embarrassing podcast but he'd get invited on Joe Rogan anyway

"It doesn't matter what we think of the album title, it's her album. She works in mysterious ways and her plan is not for us to understand in this life, so just don't question it."

I saw some poor kid post about how they accidentally saw a leak online and they needed reassurance that they weren't a bad person or a bad Swiftie. How did we get here

Also see whatever movies you want to but if you're all seeing this instead of Elio, an animated film with similar themes and an original, emotionally resonant story, what's even the point

If you enjoy the HTTYD remake, you're entitled to. But why are we celebrating the fact that's it's exactly the same as the movie that came out 15 years ago? Why can't the definitive version of this story be animated?

The Lilo & Stitch remake wasn't bad because it made changes. It was bad because those changes completely betrayed the themes in the original. You can (and should) make story changes that retain the voice and morals of the source material.

It's one thing to prefer live-action movies in general, but to say that the only reason these remakes fail is because they make changes and the best ones are the ones that are exactly the same but in live-action? That's just bad criticism

That's what makes the original movie resonate. It goes far beyond an unlikely friendship, or two siblings learning to get along. They have to adapt and form community. That, to me, is a lot more meaningful than Nani continuing her life uninterrupted and only seeing Lilo when she wants to.

Sure, Nani didn't get to go to college like her peers. Obviously she never planned on raising Lilo. The circumstances were very unfair. But by seeing them form this support network of people/aliens whose lives didn't go to plan, we see that they'll all be okay regardless.
