Still experimenting with the art style for my Titanic #history project. What do you think? This portrait is of Titanic passenger Harry Anderson. Anderson was a stockbroker from Manhattan. He boarded Lifeboat 3, and survived the sinking. More on Anderson and other passengers at www.titanic-tales.com

Titanic Tales: Frederick James Banfield was a young miner from Cornwall. Only a month after his marriage in 1907, he left England to find work in the US. He traveled to Nevada to work as a mining engineer. In December 1911, he returned home to visit family.

Mini #art gallery I created. It was fun and challenging to work at such a tiny scale. Sometimes I had to take a break because my hand would start to shake. I painted tiny versions of classic paintings. Inspired by a tutorial created by Leapling Studios. More photos below. My fav is the Matisse.

Titanic #History: At 74 years, Johan Svensson was the Titanic’s oldest passenger. Svensson, a Swedish farmer, watched as one by one his children immigrated to America. In 1912, his eldest son Amandus returned to Sweden to bring his father back to America with him. Both were lost in the sinking.
