Perhaps Ed won’t guess that Stede’s guts are roiling with a potent mixture of anger-annoyance-uncertainty, with just a touch of something else Stede doesn’t dare name. “Hey, mate,” Ed rumbles, voice rusty sounding. He doesn’t get up. “Been a long time.” Stede knows exactly how long it’s been. Ten years, three months, and twenty-seven days since they broke up.

Stede takes a deep breath. “Okay. Yeah. Yes.” A pause. “Please,” he whispers. “I want you to.” Given the way Stede’s shifting in his seat, he’s in a pretty similar state to Ed already, which is promising. Ed hopes Stede doesn’t notice how his fingers are shaking as he undoes the fall front of his pants, letting his cock spring free, feeling himself grow harder as Stede’s eyes widen. As Ed wraps his hand around himself, he hears Stede’s sharp intake of breath. He stares at Ed’s dick for a long moment, his breathing growing shallow. “Are you going to…?” Stede makes the universal “jerking off” hand gesture. “Take care of that?” “Up to you, man,” Ed says. “You’re running the show. I could pop off somewhere else to take care of this, but if you think it would help you to see—” “Yes,” Stede says quickly. “It would help me to see. If you don’t mind.” Fuck, yeah. It starts innocently enough. A picnic on a flower-strewn hillside, then a walk along a tree-lined path. "Look, Ed!" Stede says excitedly. "Canella winterana! Its bark makes a spice similar to cinnamon." "That so?" Ed's hand moves slowly down from between Stede's shoulder blades to his hip. "But true cinnamon comes from Cinnamomum verum, which grows in Ceylon...Ed! What are you doing?" Ed, oddly enough, has dropped to his knees in front of him, and is hard at work undoing the buttons of his fall front. "Having some fun. Okay with you?" "Yes, always, but...we're outdoors!" Stede adds, in a hoarse whisper. Ed looks up, big brown eyes full of lust. "No one's here. The foliage is insane enough. No one'll see us." Stede glances around; the leaves here are indeed dense, and if he's honest, the exposure makes it even more arousing. "Well, hurry up, then," he hisses. Ed chuckles, reaches in, strokes him to full hardness. "Keep talking. "Err...um... but many others grow in Asia"—Stede gasps; my, Ed's being efficient with lips and tongue-"but Canella has monadelphous stamens...ohh, Ed...and indehiscent fruit...ah!" He sees bursts of color like Canella's own flowers.

Half-shark Ed lying in a cave fill of stalactites and stalagmites. He has a large tail and a dorsal fin as well as two long penises between his legs. The rest of him looks fairly human, but he has tiger shark stripes all over his back, tail, legs, and arms. He has long wave gray hair and his long beard looks like anemone or garden eels, moving independently. His hands are webbed and be has a purple glint to his eyes. His legs are under water that's lapping against the shore.

It's been too long between #OFMD #WIPWednesday for Your Time Starts Now, so let's get back into the swing of things with Ed being dumbstruck (horny) about Stede's task attempt.

(Episode 6 is coming sooooooooooooon.)
The clip began with Izzy in the shed, making a house of cards. The iPad alarm went off and he jumped, knocking cards everywhere and letting out a quiet "Bollocks" before he opened the door of the shed. Ed let out a small giggle when Izzy rolled his eyes at the discordant sound of air horns that greeted him when he emerged from the shed. The next shot, taken from below, revealed Stede sitting on a chair in the middle of the garden, multiple air horns sitting under his daintily heeled feet, holding a large gong striker for the frankly fucking massive gong that was next to him. Ed almost choked on his fucking tongue. Stede was almost completely naked, except for his shoes and those stockings that, Ed now realised, went halfway up those tree-trunk thighs. In fact, they just about came up to where the shorty-shorts Stede was currently wearing ended. The stockings were held up with ribbon garters in a shade of purple that Stede always called 'Edward Purple' and what the everloving fuck? And, oh shit, Ed was going to die, right here in front of a live audience and Stede and everyone, because the giant Stede on-screen had just stood up, and he was wearing 'Edward Purple' boxer briefs. He raised his arms victoriously as he alternated pressing down on the air horns under each foot. Fucking hell, he was the fucking freckled fridge of Ed's dreams and Ed's breath was nonexistent and his consciousness was threatening to fuck off to some other dimension and then… And then. Then. Dick. Fucking. Fuck. Stede lifted the gong striker, twisting his upper body, back muscles and thighs and biceps all flexing and rippling and just generally being everything Ed had ever wanted to get his mouth on. He struck the gong once, twice, three times before flinging his arms up again and jumping up and down on the air horns while cackling. Thankfully, or not, depending on whether Ed's brain or Ed's libido were in charge, the clip didn't end there. It provided Ed an excellent opportunity to wonder at the way the wintry sun lent Stede's skin a rosy glow, glinted off the scant coppery hair dusting his chest and legs, made his pert little nipples all crinkly and… Ed sucked in a deep breath and gave himself a mental splash of icy cold water, forcibly switching his attention away from the glorious sight of an unselfconscious Stede in one of the sexiest outfits Ed had ever seen. The sight of Izzy desperately trying not to look impressed or surprised went some way towards reducing Ed's torturous levels of titillation. Izzy nodded at Stede, who was beaming proudly, arms still spread wide. He pointed at the gong and commented wryly, "I think that was more surprising," before indicating Stede's state of semi-nudity, "than that." "The gong?" There was a bitchy edge to Stede's tone, as if he couldn't believe that Izzy wasn't as surprised-slash-appreciative of Stede's expanse of exposed skin as he was by the gong Stede had somehow gotten into the garden. He waved his free hand at himself. "Not this?" Oh, and now he was teasing, confident, claiming back control of the situation. Fuck, Ed loved him. Izzy blustered, "Well, uh, I guess… It's a lovely physique—" Lovely? What the fuck? "Lovely?" Stede smirked. Izzy rolled his eyes. "But the gong? Look at it. Magnificent. And way more surprising." He flicked his gaze up and down Stede and then shrugged. "I mean, to be fair, the dong and the gong - both are pretty impressive." Ed was going to fucking kill Izzy. Stede's smirk grew deeper as he leaned against the pillar holding up the brass gong and crossed his arms (oh holy fuck). "How many horns?" Izzy asked, and Stede pushed off from the gong, pressing down on all of the air horns beneath his feet. "Four," he practically purred, and all of the hair on the back of Ed's neck stood on end and goddamn how could it be that Izzy got to hear Stede sound like that? It was practically foreplay, and Ed was losing his mind. Again. Izzy clapped his hands, as if to wrap up the task. "You're a four-horn surprise!" Stede swung the striker at the gong once more, and then one more time. The shot lingered on that sight for a few beats more than Ed thought was strictly required, before the clip ended.

#WIPWednesday for a fic I’ve been noodling on for months (inspired by Supercut by Lorde). Nervous but excited to present Come Home to My Heart, aka innkeeper exes.

Would you like some tea?” Jeffrey asks kindly. He is at least aware of some of the tension simmering away here. “We turned the gas on, and it turns out the kitchen’s in decent shape…” ”No, thank you,” Stede replies, not ready to be left alone with Ed when he feels raw and vulnerable. An exposed nerve. A glass face. That’s what Ed always said Stede possessed. Stede tries to school his expression into careful neutrality as he takes a seat adjacent to the couch. He hopes it’s more of a frosty, opaque sort of glass nowadays. Ed looks older. Like he’s been though some stuff. He looks good. But that had always been effortless for him. Easy, breezy, the type roll right out of bed and into glamor. Whereas Stede always labored for hours at the gym, over his hair and skin, and with the care of his wardrobe. Stede sniffs. Ed had never used the delicate cycle in his life. To be fair, he did take meticulous care of his hair. (Glorious, now silvery, hair. Stede’s not sure how his knees kept him upright .) He clears his throat and looks at Jeffrey. “Why is Edward here?” he asks quietly. “Did Sally leave him a legacy?” That would be surprising—Sally hadn’t owned anything but this inn. Ed looks up, as if he wants to say something. Instead, he grimaces and takes a sip of his tea. Jeffrey pulls a manila envelope off of a side table and sits in the other armchair. He looks nervous. “Well, she left a letter for me to read. Very dramatic of her—I tried to tell her people only do this on TV.” He barks a laugh. When neither Stede nor Ed laugh, Jeffrey rushes on. “I must advise you that her wishes, as expressed in this letter, are not binding. There is no force of law behind them. The two of you may do as you wish with the property.”

Color impression sketch from the OFMD Big Bang fic "Clear Water to the Bottom." Completed in the very early planning stages of the collab, right after matching and getting the first bits of the story. Little Stede and his glowing mystery Dream Friend are tucked up together on a log. They are basking in awe at the huge purply-blue sky filled with stars and leaning ever so slightly toward each other. Little Stede is bathed in the calm green-blue glow of his Dream Friend, his aura reflected back in Stede's highlights. The colors of the piece are bright and prismatic while the edges and shapes are soft and bleed into each other.
