The world would be much better off if current political leaders behaved like the Pharisees (the actual Pharisees, not the fictional bogeymen of Christian scripture). Fidelity to law is a good thing. Being accountable for your actions is a good thing. Striving to do good works is a good thing.

While I greatly appreciate everyone's faith in the people of Philadelphia, as a resident in one of Philly's many neighborhoods of immigrants, I can only feel fear and doom. No amount of Philly Elmo or other shenanigans will be worth it.

There is no meaningful difference between Spencer Pittman's invocation of "synagogue of Satan" and whatever this ostensible progressive is arguing here
And what they are doing is the exact same as the pharisees jesus actually called offspring of Satan and whitewashed tombs. Men who use religion as a tool for personal power and abuse, but have nothing to do with what it actually teaches.
