I’m not that surprised. Worked in Rio for a week in 2018 and that city at least had an appalling fire record. A fire broke out literally 10 yards from me but thankfully was put out quickly.

Highly recommend The Hack (on ITV) if you haven't seen it. Phenomenal cast and very well presented.
