I’ve seen a few references online today to today being a big drinking holiday. One person called it the biggest drinking holiday of the year. Since when? When/why did Thanksgiving Eve become a drinking holiday?

Years ago, a friend (who only knew me post-injury, for the record) asked when I was going to get better. I was like "this is it, bud. This is as *better* as I get."
