Incentives to encourage people to transition from ICE to EVs are important to achieve bigger goals, undermining them by reducing those incentives by putting congestion charges back on is a bad move.

It does, but taxes are important levers for behaviour, so to reduce emissions we need to continue to transition ICE to EVs, so it's a balance between various taxation levers, and we think the Mayor has got this one wrong.

It really is regrettable that the Mayor’s failure to get more funding for London means costs like this are now falling on the shoulders of working people in London, especially those in outer London where public transport is still too sparse.
