It’s an embarrassment, one of the great cities of the world has no rail link to the airport. A lot of people’s first impression wouldn’t be great.

Better public transport makes it easier for everyone. I was quite happy to leave the car parked in the driveway and walk to the station and get the train.

We became such a car dependent country and neglected our public transport systems and infrastructure. I’m so glad Melbs kept its trams. They’re now an iconic part of the city and no one could imagine life without them.

It’s long overdue, not to mention the CityLink fees for a lot of people coming from a large chunk of Melbs.

Trams are part of our DNA. 57, 59 and 82 were my tram routes before I moved to Sunbury. Love our trams.

A rail link to Tulla, which has been on the table for as long as I can remember, will mean no more need for people to take CityLink to go and pick people up or drop them off. They can just get the train. It’s a no brainer.
