This is correct. Any candidate cynically “triangulating” on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. There’s still so much time to advance candidates that DON’T suck.

As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

My theory is that centrists know elected democrats haven't used any of these words but they do know that academics and activists apart of the base do, they want to control the language the base uses so it doesn't become "too left wing", aka they wanna throw every minority under the bus.
It would be a huge step forward for Democrats and for general clarity in political writing if these terms went away. These came mostly from academic hothouses.

Per a convo with their bank on the Steam/itchio situation today, Visa put new restrictions into place due to a new "government policy." The exact phrase used by Visa. No specific country was listed as the source of the policy
