We talked about bills I authored & coauthored: SB 148 (Crime guns task force) & SB 69 (1977 Pension & Death Benefit). We also discussed concerning bills: SB 285 (Criminalizing homelessness), SB 4 (Optional funding of community mental health centers) & changes to SEA 1 (2025).

A 2nd entrance would help ease congestion, improve access & ensure more people can safely & conveniently experience the incredible natural beauty our region has to offer.

Investing in access to our parks means investing in tourism, local economies and outdoor experiences for all Hoosiers. #INForAll

I am deeply concerned about the precedent set when this balance is ignored, and I look forward to Congress hearing directly from the Administration on this matter as soon as possible.

While the Constitution grants the Executive Branch broad authority in foreign affairs, it also clearly establishes a role for Congress, particularly when American troops may be placed in harm’s way.

Hoosiers have been asking for relief, and that is exactly what I intend to deliver this session.
